Default holy **** this is the loudest nastyest thing ever

i installed my header today only to realize that it didnt bolt right up to the factory exhaust like i though so i am now riding around with the loudest exhaust in the midwest and not in a good way. the car drives rather shiznisty like and i have to drive it to work tomorrow before i can get it to the shop.

i guess it works out because now i will just go get my complete exhaust done and quit procrastinating.

the thing is my rims were supposed to come in on monday and now i might not be there when they get delivered which means the driver might not leave them which in turn means that i will have to wait another day for my wheels and i am an impatient mother fucker

so you guys say the obx headers dont fit?
im about to buy obx 4-1 headers not the 4-2-1 like you see a lot of on ebay but actual 4-1 obx headers should i not get these then?

Yea I was thinking about getting these what part is not measuring up the distance. And you have the 4-1 or the 4-2-1 headers.

I have the obx 4-2-1 headers, they don't fit right away, they barely fit onto the head, and the gasket that connects the headers to the flexpipe peice touches the bottom of the engine, so you have to shave it about 1/4 of an inch so that it doesnt damage the bottom of the engine. Anyway, I have mine fully modified to fit, but I am going turbo so will probably have them up for sale soon. They do add good horsepower, just make sure you have enough backpressure, a ricer muffler won't do, I have a flowmaster

i own a gen 1 tiby, i put on the obx 4-2-1 header and obx cat back. the nasty part was that since the cat is on the stock header, i had a foot of space between the header and cat back. also, the cat back had a 3 hole flange and the header had a 2 hole flange. i had to manufacture a 2-3 hole flange pipe (one foot long) to compensate. so i really dont expect anything to really fit right. i have no cat now. oops... but the hp is really noticable throughout the whole rpm range.
