Default VROOM VROOM TIBBY

I need help... I 'm planning to race at Qualcomm stadium at the track in about two weeks. It'll be my first time so I need tips...but...I wanna be able to go out there and whoop a lot of people...I'm sure most of them haven't seen a tibby...mainly because I think I'm 1 out of like a million people in San Diego who have a modified tib...Anyways..here are my mods... what else can I do before then to kick some !@@$#
2000 hyundai tiburon... yellow
Engine:

~AEM CAI
~OBX 4-1 dual y headers (4-2-1)
~Denso Iridium spark plugs..no wires yet...
~2.25 piping from cat
~obx muffler...(No resonator yet..maybe a glasspack will increase my hp if I add backpressure)
~B&M short throw shifter

other than that..I will take out my box and spare ...and all the rest of the crap I pile in the car.

Maybe some tips on racing...(It's an 1/8th mile track)
check this out... http://www.racelegal.com ..
let me know if anyone is down here in daygo and is going to the races on fri...maybe we can all meet up? THere's also a small car show there at the tracks..check out the site... but anyways... I wanna show all the ricers that Hyundai's can kick @ss too!
Thanks in advance

put on light tires and rims and let a little air out of the front tires so they grab easier.. also you might want a bored throttle body, bored intake manifold, some type of piggy back or stand alone ECU, and maybe even a 75 shot of nitrous.

good luck man.

One thing that separates the boys from the men is your launch technique...i suggest you find a quiet road (private is best) : and practise getting it right......the difference between a good launch and a bad launch can be huuuuge and very time costly.

have fun is the best advice!

I was thinking of just getting the one off of sharkracing.com (TB) cuz that's already 58mm and it has the cruise control armature. But how do i get my intake manifold bored out?? cuz i just installed the obx headers. Isn't the intake manifold the holes in the engine like where the headers connect?

that is actually the exhuast manifold. the intake manifold is the part that your throttle body connects to.
