Default SR 4-1 header and MBRP Cat-Back installed

I just installed both of these today :smoking: and I'm not sensing much of a difference power wise. I helped my mechanic put it on and we sealed up everything very tightly so I'm fairly positive I don't have any leaks. I was wondering if I should disconnect my battery for 30 seconds and try and reset the ecu. I do have a RS CAI, but I don't have BBTB or BIM, but I did figure I would notice a slight increase in power.

all you have to do is disconnect it for 15 mins? you dont have to put the key in and try to turn it over with it disconnected or anything?

15 minutes ??? damn thats too long, lol, 5 minutes is cool, if ya want. turn the key, just to surge out the power, others have said to press the brake pedal to suck out the power, but I guess 5 minutes is enuf

actually disconnect it for 30 seconds and press the brake pedal or anything to drain all the current from the system.

or just disconnect negative terminal and a$$ away off for half n hour. both will reset it.

I did not get a chance to reset my ecu last night. My muffler is against the back exhaust bracket and rattles pretty bad sometimes so I was trying to fix that last night. I need to find a way to push the whole exhaust system toward the front of the car about a 1/4 of an inch, or else just find a way of getting the muffler away from that bracket. I think decker had the same problem and posted a solution but HA is down and can't reference the topic!

Maybe if Random sees this he could possible post that topic. Or if someone knows any way I could get around this problem.

I plan on reseting the ECU tonight and driving it hard over the holiday weekend and see how that goes. Will let you guys know how it turns out.
