Default SAFC? Prices?

Ok everyone, I'm shopping for a SAFC and a BBTB.

For the SAFC, what's a good going price for them? I don't wanna get raped, and need to know what to look for.

I'm assuming I should get the Version 2, so if anyone can give me advise on how much they both go for, I'd appreciate it.

Also, are there other brands besides the Apexi? If so, got pics?

Thanks folks.

The S-AFCII I've seen the going for $280 on e-bay. Then you have to see what they want for shipping. I've seen then for "310 shipped". Some time it's cheaper to pay a little more WITH shipping then to pay a lower cost then thay add shipping & insurance. They're tricky like that.

Buttom line is total you're looking around $300.

there are alteratives to the S-AFC. the SMT unit and the GReddy e-manage. they do fule and also ignition timing. Though to this point I don't think anyone gotten the ignition part working.

Me I plan to got woth an S-AFCII and an MSD ignition. WHen I make some money or win the lotto.

Well REDMEN, the SMT & e-manage have more functions, like ignition timeing controll. But like I said last I herd no one as gotten thet part woring on a Tib. So that really wont do you much good. I believe they are more expensive but don't know how much. I also like the looks of the S-AFCII. Ingition control isn't that important untill you boost of heavy NO2 (i believe), and I plan to get an MSD that will give me ignition controll and an upgraded performance ingition spark.

By the way THANK YOU for serving, SIR!

Will Buying a SAFC give alot of horsepower? My brother in Law is a Auto Electrican with his own shop, so i know hooking it up will be no problem. Should i buy one as my next upgrade?

The SAFC alone will not give you alot of HP (errhh you need to quantify alot).....it is pretty much dependent on your A/F system, Camshaft, and exhaust system modification as well.

I have heard of up to (not everyone mind you) 15whp from just using a S-AFC over stock

and no, I don't have dyno sheets to prove this.. I have just heard from others about it...
