It works best when matched to you IM and you have I/H/E. You should notice better throttle response.

Can you say.... Throttle Responce?

I've heard everything from 10 to 20 HP (Crank) for the BBTB and BIM setup to improved fuel economy, especially with a SAFC, then you're looking great.

Hi Redzman

10 to 20 hp at the crank is alittle over-rated even with a SAFC...no doubt a bigger TB allows better air flow togather with a BIM the limiting factor is the cylinder head, injectors and camshafts....my guess would be anything from 0 to 3hp tops.

I would say the 10-20hp(crank) came from also having the I/H/E pared with the BBT and junk

Okay..i know i'm still a newb... I know IM stands for intake manifold..but what are all the other abbrev you guys have used in this forum...

my next project is the throttle body....so that's why I'm curious...
also..have any of you guys tried the quick 5 min mod to the TB rerouting the radiator hose that goes through the TB back to itself?? I have and I'm just wondering if I should feel a big diff?

Hi Gstylez

IM = Intake Manifold
BIM = Bored Intake Manifold
TB = Throttle Body
BBTB = Big Bore Throttle Body
CAI = Cold Air Intake
I/H/E = Intake/Header/Exhaust
WOT = Wide Open Throttle
SC = Super Charger
TC = Turbo Charger
MAP = Mass Air Pressure
MAF = Mass Air Flow
BOV = Blow Off Valve

....eerrhhh what else.......

Yes I have tried the re-routing job and what you do experience is that the engine respones better and during start-stop traffic, the engine dont turn sluggish.....do note the warning if you are living in climate that gets cold.
