Default piggback ecus

I was wondering, what all does the aftermarket piggback computer control on the car besides A/F ratios and timing. What all does the SAFC version2 control? I know I have been asking a lot of dimwitted questions lately, but that is just because when I start to modify I want to know what I am doing and what are the best products to get to make my Tiburon how I want it.

Thanx.

Piggyback like the e-manage and the SMT, as you said, controll air/fuel and timing. The S-AFC controll only Air/Fuel the S-ACFII can be hooked up to you knock sensor to display that info.

What is it that you're planing on doing?

I have no clue what I want to do yet. I am am definatly going to go turbo but I am not sure if I will go custom or get a kit. By the end of everything I wanna be pulling around 300whp after years of modifaction, research, time, and money.

The best place I've found to get ans S-AFC or S-AFCII is ebay, around 220 & 300. You should decide what U plan on doing first or you msy just be waisting money. If you plan on going turbo you might be better off spending $$$ on stuff that will complament your turbo (BIB, BTB ect.)

Or if like me you plan on going turbo down the raod but plan on going N/A for the time being an S-AFC could be what you want.

What mods do you have? S-AFC will help most if you already have some good mods done.

Good luck!
