the aftermarket cables are mostly only useful if you have upgraded your ignition and spark otherwise about all they do for you is look pretty

Magnacore KV85 and MSD ingition!

that what I plan (have the wires already)

a good ingition should inprove throttle response from what I understand

there could be lots of factors affecting the performance in that artical. Did they change the plugs, bla bla bla. I don't know about the wires they used but I doubt the magnacor perferm less then my stock. I also hear the hyundai wires should be replaces after about a year or two.

They did specify the spark plug they use and they also had HKS air filter in it. What they stress on the point is that the aftermarket perform even worst then stock(they stated miss firing using the aftermarket). I don't mind if its just for looks but to perform lower than stock is not my cup tea. Anyone could clarify this? :ermm:

msd is crappy. haven't had any problem with my magnecor even with NO2. stoch=k should be replace every couple of years. did it with my 99 sonata. It went bad after two yrs. took it back to the dealer and they replaced it for free.

I would not suggest Nology for Hyundai's, if you want to upgrade your wires get either MSD or NGK (recommended NGK over MSD) however, it will not gain you anything until you upgrade your ignition, including plugs, coil and ignition itself. You can use the wires, they shouldn't decrease performance, but they can be expensive so I wouldn't bother unless you actually need them
