Default Finally Dynoed My Coupe

Hi Everyone

I managed to find the time to dyno my 1.6L Coupe.

http://www.pbase.com/stkhoo/dyno_chart

The guy said that I was crazy on the first run as he realised that the tuning of the SAFC2 left very little margin on the A/F ratio which was running lean....:

Anyway have a look at the chart and tell me what do you guys feel and what does the two sets of graph means....Modification done so far are:

Suspension

Front and back custom tower struts
Sachs Performance shocks with lowering springs
Whiteline front and back sway bars
Tie Rods Bracing

Brakes

DBA front and back slot and cross drilled rotors
Bandix semi-metallic brak pads

Intake and Exhaust

Custom 4-2-1 header with relocated high flow Catcon at mid section
Supersprint Muffler
Custom CAI with AEM By-pass valve, K&N cone filter
Cusco Oil Catch Tank

Engine

UR Lighten Flywheel
UR Lighten Pulley

Ignition

Splitfire low resistance plug wires
Nippon Denso Iridium plugs
Apexi SAFC2 Controller
FSE Fuel Pressure Regulator
HKS Fuel Line Kit

Misc

Pivot grounding wires
Autometer A/F Gauge
Autometer Vac Pressure Gauge
Autometer Tach with Shift Light

Audio

Kenwood double din (dont know which model)
Kenwood changer (dont know which model....MP3 and CDRW capable)
Default MB Quarts Speakers (came with the car)

I am probably going to stay NA looking to put another 30WHP to my current figure. I am looking at some camshaft at the moment which is probably not enough to get there. My regular machanic has mangaed to buy a second hand cylinder head, intake manifold, and throttle body....I am not too sure if I need to increase my injectors as there is alot of negative values in my current SAFC settings.

The last bit is going to be the tough part which is ignition timing. I am not going to touch the Greddy piggy back as there seems to be alot of problems with this piggy back to Misubishi sensors which incidentally the same as the Hyundai ones.....the guy is not sure but till I can confirm this, he is not going to recommend it.

I could get the superchip that does ignition, but at the end, it does not allow much user flexibility in tuning as the dyno guy is not the superchip agent.....MSD...no one where I am does this device:dead:

This means I am super stuck......its either a full ECU replacement or live with the fact that I am not going to be able to tune ignition.......

Why not reprogram the stock ECU? I think you can use the Hi-scan Pro to twiddle the curves. Will find out if it is possible when I go to the new Hyundai showroom at Car Row.

BTW, good job dynoing the 1.6 Beta. Looking for a dyno sheet of this motor for a while. Love it!
