Default Just bought the OBX 4-2-1 Header so....

I just purchased them today, and I will probably install them like next weekend, but heres my question. How do I make them not so loud? I've been reading a lot of the posts on here about them and what not, but I have not been able to figure out exactly what I should do. I still have my stock exhaust on my car, so do I have to like get a cat back exhaust, or can I just buy a new muffler? And where would be the best place to buy whatever it is I need? Help would be awesome guys. Thanks.

if you want to get some hp out of the header you need to get a cat-back to match the header bc it is bigger then ur stock exhaust

ok well if you have your stock exhaust on it wont be much louder but it will be hella deeper.. when you slap a cat back on it... its going to be hella loud

Agreed get the OBX catback an add on a resonator, or cut off the muffler that come woth the OBX echaust and replace it with a sporttone muffler from Powertone (or both). That should tame it a bit.

Sporttone muffler ---> www.powertone.com
resomator ---> www.summitracing.com
