Brendan I've visited your web site many times and I still think it's one of the best on the web, too bad you're in Canada because it would be nice to attend a hands on how to session with you.

ok then that means you wont get horsepower if you put a performance muffler?

then why does you car suck if you start blocking the exhaust pipe?

the idea of a perfomace muffler is to allow more air through than a stock muffler.

I would still say you can gain at least 1 or 2 hp by allowing less back pressure. (putting in a better air flow muffler)

essentialy you might not get more horsepower, but by allowing the potential horse power to NOT be restricted, then essentially you really are gaining more horsepower (by not letting it get restricted), if not the end result is the same, you still get extra power some where if at all and whp is what counts

Not good if you have to wait until high rpm to get it, in a drag race your opponent would be long gone.
