Default Help with ground wire kit

I just bought and installed my Arospeed ground wire kit. (pics soon) The guy I bought it off wrote on the back of the package (do not use gold battery terminal) is there any reason not to? If any body knows why I should not install could you let me know. Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't see why not use gold? Looks better then the cheapo batt terminals that come with the car. Maybe the wire corodes faster with gold? Never heard of it but who know's.

i decided not to use a gold battery terminal because i thought the $1.00 one would do just as good of job as the $4.00 one, considering the were the same size, looked the same, and I just needed to replace my battery terminal the same time as installing a ground wire kit.

I mean, if you want to spend the extra for it then go nuts. Really, I would have if I didnt care about my budget. You should ask the guy and post what his answer is. I'd like to know too, now. (Not enough to go buy the gold terminal though )

Gold is one of the best electrical conductors, along with pure silver.

many ppl know taht but what IVE always wondered is why they dont just make silver battery terminals instead of gold. silver is cheaper and a better conducter, hell mix some copper in there and they can still be better than gold and almost as cheap as lead ones. lead sucks.

Platinum! Now there is an electical conductor.

I just installed a cheap verion of the kit.. I have to say, that even a cheap kit looks pretty decent (except for the cap on the battery) and works well as far as I can tell.. the Butt dyno registers no gain.. but the car seems to start a little easier and run a little smoother.
