Default powerchip upgrade problems

I just got a chip from powerchip and i have a check engine light on now the thing is it's not a code it say's engine rom memory error. I had the guy at autozone clear it but after i drove home turned off the car and restarted it it came right back. can anyone help.uzzled:

You sent them your ECU, they installed the chip, then they sent back the ECU, correct? It sounds like they installed a bad chip or a chip with the wrong program on it. You'll probably have to contact Powerchip for a warranty repair. A "ROM Error" is a problem with the chip.

ROM... Read Only Memory... the error is definatly in the programming in the chip then... or they fried something else while they were in there. Contact them about warrenty work.
