Default E-Bay CAI's?

Anyone buy one of those cold air intakes you see on E-Bay all the time? How does it work for you? Are there any Generic Injens and Aem's to look out for or are the just some piece of pipe with a hole in it? The one in paticular I was looking at was the "Bomz" one.

Thanks!

I would be weary ordering one of those ripoffs. Bottom line is you get what you pay for, so it would seem wise to dish out a little more cash to get an AEM or AOS, or the like for proven performance not just empty promises that these generic CAI's claim.

I have a generic one piece e-bay CAI, and I love it. It is the 3" tubing and fit quite nice. I could tell the difference in performance when I put it on. cost me about 50 shipped.

It's not that I want to go cheap with my car...it's just that I am planning on buying a turbo kit for my car (or make my own) and I don't see the point in throwing a bunch of cash away on a good CIA.Tiburondave Is this the one you have?

All the Bomz ones seem to be gone I might wait for those to show back up.

Are you getting a bypass valve? you can usually pick them up off e-bay pretty cheap.
