Default Does somebody Know?

Hi, guys, I am from Costa Rica and I own an Excel 91, 2 doors. Right now the car is almost stock, the only change is the speedbox, originally is of 4 speed, mine is 5 speed. I am very interested in begin tune my car, my question is How much HP increases with a very good high flow air filter, and exhaust of about 2 1/2 in.
Than you for your help.

Best regards from Costa Rica,

Maniac

If you figure the stock 91 excel has only about 80hp stock.. 10 hp is a BIG jump.

2.5" exhaust will be too big for your motor. Go with a 2".

You will also need to focus on the exhaust manifold as well......If you are looking to improve low to mid range, then a 4-2-1 will be a good.....if you are looking at higher rpm then a 4-1, cylinder head porting, BTB, and BIM is needed....not forgetting a high flow cat.

Ok, tnks for the advice, in fact I was thinking that 2 1/2" is too much, and it's true that my car is about 80 hp, so 10 hp is very good for it.

What do you think guys is the most easiest way to start tune your car if you don´t have a lot of money to buy a turbo, but you want to increase little by little your car's performance, is the intake system?

Start with the intake, then exhaust.
