Default Shark racing hi-perf cams.

Does anyone have these in their cars? I am able to get a pair for cheap, but im wondering about the shims that are needed for install. Any help would be great

If shims are needed for the camshaft, then it should be togather as a kit that comes from SR.....so if you are going to get it second hand, ask for the shims.....but I thought the beta does not need shims?

If it is a regrind, the base circle of the cam has probably been reduced enough that the hydraulic lash on the lifters probably cannot adjust to them. Personally, I stay away from Regrinds, they are hard on your valve train due to the steeper ramps caused by the smaller base cicrle and they tend not to be as "hard" as either the original cams or those done up from black billets.

cool thanks I really wasnt sure im new on the hyundai scene and there are only a few option open for mods and Im not into wasting money.
