Default New Mods - Expected Power??

Ok, real soon headers and CAI will be on my ordered list. I already have exhaust, but with the headers coming in I am finishing it (meaning 2.5 cat-back w/ high-flow cat). With this being done, can someone with knowledge of these mods on the 2.7L please tell me what kind of power I can expect. Thank you in advance.

Hi!....the concensus of opinion here in the U.K. is that the V6 Delta engine responds better to N/A. mods. than any other Hyundai engine to date & that worthwhile gains can be had without resorting to forced induction.
Bearing in mind that the gain for each mod. is not directly cumulative, I would say that the package you outlined is good for 20 w.h.p. on this engine.
Cheers,
Nick.

I didn't beat any insanely fast cars.:ermm: If you think an 85 300ZX SINGLE TURBO is crazy fast, race one and find out for yourself. Even with his boost @ 13psi, the rest of the car was stock and very heavy (heavier than my fat car). Look Mach5, I don't know what your problem is, but lay off. My question for this topic was, and I quote "someone with knowledge". :duh: Please keep your flaming on the race topic in the race forum. Thank you :dead:

i'm pretty sure in your first post you said 300zx TT...not that it was 85 single turbo.

It's custom exhaust from Megan Racing. Like I said, no bigger piping, just mufflers right now, but the 2.5 inch pipes will be added once the headers come in. AEM intake, and SS Auto Chrome Inc. Stone Racing Headers and High-flow Cat.

No my first post said 85 300ZX turbo, but when WytchDoctor combined all my post(since I made all my races seperate posts at first), he accidently put TT instead and everyone flamed, but it's cool cuz I know what I first typed and I fixed the post.

actually I typed it because i deleted the topics title that contained that cars info (it was all moved to that topic) someone had "assumed" a tt.. see the second post. So i used that info. I was unaware that the other person had the wrong idea. In the actual post u didn't say what it was.. so I had to go by what the other guy said....

Would you guys please leave the n00b alone, it was an honest mistake and not even his fault. So, drop it already.

Welcome to the site U.B.

It is kind of hard to say exactly where you ill be at, the AEM intake has been known to give up to 15whp as far as total mods go, you will probably be around 190 at the fly wheel.

Thanks AUTOBOT.

So it sounds like a 20hp gain either way you look at it. Cool, I'll take what I can get, and besides, I'm only paying $250 + s/h for the headers so that ain't bad. Thanks for all the info.
