Default modifie intake manifold

hello

i am crazy person , i saw my accent has plastic or what ever intake manifold (not this sheet metal intake manifold.. plastic is lighter) and first people are get bigger exhaust manifold and exhaust system then i though why not but bigger pipes on intake manifold .. well for some reason i cant find what intake manifold has and what it would cause if i cut orginal pipes and add bigger pipes (weld with heat blower)

does anyone know what is in front of these pipes? (just gonna add bigger with same turns and every thing as orginal) and if i could run in trouble with ecu?

photo would be nice.

thanks.

are you saying you want a different air intake? (not the manifold..)

I think you're looking for a "Cold Air Intake" but I'm really not sure

those are runners, they go to the head.. the part the throttle body bolts onto is the plenum (i believe)

wouldn't your best bet be, to port match the runners on the intake manifold to the head ?

If you start screwing with those, you could make yer car run like crap. And even the slightest leak in pressure will make yer car not run at all, or run like poo......If you do try something, becarefull and get a spare that's unmodded incase you screw up.....

isnt the 4g63 a 2l. they arent interchangable. besides, why are you wasting money on a 1.5 when you could put a 2l in it?

Yeah, alot of us have a 1.5l and cant afford the engine swap as well as mods, thus we keep our 1.5l and mod that .......

because i have done beta job on a my accent and i dont want to buy engine from USA again + i got Coupe 2,0L (that was 1.6L.. just use my accent beta engine)

mine is 1,3L not 1,5L

why because i want to try to own a 1.3L turbo accent + i own a 1,5L engine (accent and scoupe turbo engine.. well it is broken after crash)

edit: oh yeah at my contry dragtrack then i need orginal engine in the car (accent with accent engine , scoupe with scoupe engine , elantra with elatra engine) if i want to race.. and i aint going against big blocks boys (they can use other engine.. well they run under 12 sec so i aint trying)
