Default MOVED: has anyone fit 16v colt/mirage sohc head onto alccent/scoupe 12v?

my friend own a colt/mirage 16v sohc!!!! ´96 or something.

i got lot of ideas like buy 16v colt head and fit it instead of my 12v head hehe.

just want to know if anyone has test this?

well i was thinking about buy his 8v 1600 turbo colt/mirage engine but then i remember that engine is bad sister to 4g63T , then i found out his car has 16v colt sohc engine that he is removing to get 4g63T engine in so i really want to know if 16v head fit.

a good way to know it would by comparing the Head gasket

but then again 12v vs 16v with a high Compression ratio the problem will be the piston a 12v piston will have 3 slot 16v 4 slot in it

but then again if i remeber well the stock tib piston only have one big slot fort the valve on intake side i think uzzled:

i don't think anyone tried it but comparing head gasket is a good start

I don'tthink it'll work.. the 1.5L dohc 16v hyundai head won't even bolt up to the 1.5L sohc 12v block. Water passages don't line up from head to block.
