is it better ti put an oil/air separator and relink it to the intake?

A breather valve is not evironmentally sound because these gases are let out into the atmosphere, so yes, it is better.

Not to mention that after time, the breather filter will still drip oil after it gets soaked.

So yeah, this is better.

Looks good Adam.

We can figure out how to run it back in to the intake later. But for now, the dealership shouldn't care about this mod at all because it is actually better for the car then to let oil into the intake.

No more squeaky noise? Are you saying that the aweful "sqeaking" noise I hear at idle is because of the breather?

my toyota used to that , it was a little chirp sound like a bird coming from the outlet of the fresh air hose from the valve cover.

Yes it will work, however there isn't that much blow-by in a n/a car.
It may be a while before it fills up. LOL

He had the crank case breather that went in to the intake plugged off because he had a home made intake and it didn't have a place to put the hose. The squeaking was caused by that. So if you have your crank case plugged off, then yes that is what is causing the squeaking noise at idle.
