The article speaks of coolent bypass near the throttlebody... why would you want to do this? And if its good to do it, is possiable on the Beta 2 motor?
Antifreez is run through the throttlebody to keep it from freezing in colder climates. The problem is it also warms the air coming in to the intake manifold which will detract from performance. Although it will not give a huge gain, it is free and easy to do and can be done on any Beta. Seeing that you live in FL, there is no reason why you shouldn't do this mod. If you drive to a cold climate, then just reconect it.

Ok thanks! I shall attempt this mod, just disconnect the hoses, and connector them together to eachother and thats it? (of course with an adapter) Is that how i would do this?
There are two hoses that go from the crankcase to the TB. One feeds fluid to the TB and one is a return but that part doesn't realy matter and which is which doesn't matter either.
You simply disconect one from the crankcase and loop the other so it feeds back in to it.
It realy doesn't matter what you do with the one on the TB but I looped it around just so the hose and clamp would be there if I felt I ever needed it.
It is a realy simple job, just a tight squeez and you might find pulling the TB off makes it a lot easier. It takes about 15 min and that includes TB removal.

i thought it was great when i saw these lines to the throttle body on my accent.
i thought this was quite convenient when it came time to run water cooling lines to my trubo. they are the right size. i needed no fittings just $12 worth of hosing and clamps and there you have it a water cooled turbo.
What's funny is he's asking questions about the DIY I posted at RDTiburon.com, when it's all explained in that thread and it shows exactly how to do it.
