I could imagine a piggy back system being installed... not sure if the parameters of the stock ECU can handle that much air and fuel without throwing a CEL

CEL - Check Engine Light
our cars seem to have them illuminate fairly often once mods are underway.
I hang out with several mustang, saleen, roush, cobra, camaro, and firebird tuners. They are big on having their ECU redone or a custom chip burned. Is there any point to it on imports? Primarily Hyundai's? Even with turbo, would there be much of an advatage to it?

When a tuner company can get really serious and retune our ECU's to match the cars mods then thats the time to cash in on the ECU upgrade. All the mods you throw on a hyundai and most cars your still low and behold running stock 87 fuel trim settings with Economy and Emissions as number one command in the cars brain.
I have the original tool to read and write Hyundai (or most Korean) ECU. I am also able to decode the binary code and look for the fuel and ignition maps. I am able to change the map to make the engine run more efficiently. That is how I tune the original ECU.
