Default Breather filter question

Ok i have a breather filter on my car instead of the tube back to the intake. i have had if for a long time now. I was wondering if it gets cloged up can it throw a cel.

I think those breathers are pretty much useless. Here in Ontario you can get a ticket for having one on your car. As far as it getting clogged I would say that there is likely some oil that has collected in there clogging it. I guess you could clean it but why?

well i have a cell and the person who ran the code said it was with the intake, and i was reading the oil catch tank diy. just curious
