Default ecu

so i put a 1.8l cam in the wagon the other day and i was just wondering if i should put the comperter from the 1.8l car in my car. see a great inprovment with out it just wondering if there is more to get out of it.

So if you use the more agressive 1.8 intake cam in your 2.0 Beta, you should also use the 1.8 ECU? Good to know.

Hello how about telling us your experience with the 1.8L cam init? And please tell me was it a simple plug n play install? Out with the old and in with the new? Any mods required? cuz im planning on doing it very soon when i get some fundages. I got the ecu in, its healthy.

it is vary simpleyou just have to make sure yu mark where your timing is so you have the same timeing. took me and a budy ten 15 mins to change my cam, good inprovments. i am going to try the 1.8 tibby ecm to see if it will give take advantage of the cam and maybe better rpms.

i have the 1.8 cam put in an i've read a couple of people putting the ecu in too. they say it helps out on the top end but not sure when i here more people doing it and it works i would give it a shot.

hey guys i got a question...
does putting the 1.8 cam in loss you torque?

when i put it in a month ago i could feel like there is a torque loss but a horse gain around 3500-7000 rpms.

i would check your timeing on that one i did not notice a turque lose just a gain
