Ok, so im looking at superchargers, might get one, might not.
I have a CAI,headers, exhaust, fidenza flywheel, XTD clutch, and i want to go faster. Im thinking of sometype of computer managment, but ive never done anything like this before. Im looking for something that works well with NA and boost. What should i be looking for? Hell.. i dont even know what a safc is? eeek..

i would say supercharge it. buy a nice blower and get some decent computer management. standalone computer.... something like microtech, or megasquirt. hopefully rob reads this and gives you his opinions as i have never dealt with Greddy e-manage or an SAFC yet.

Beta swapped, Beta transmission going in next. Soon to be turbocharged.
Planning on getting one down the road, but i dont want to have to get two managment systems. im doing reschearch on this, but its all bringing back the same stuff, this sytems is great for beginners, so is this one, and this one, and this one. GAAR! I just wanted to know from first hand expreicence or actuall know how, and not from some biased site that sells the product.

The safc is very easy to install and even easier to tune. With a small range of + and - of your maf voltage at low/mid/high throttle you get a great tune for n/a and a nice mild tune for a low boost setup (prolly 10psi and below, varys depending on injector size).
Emanage is easy to install in its base form, its the same wires as an safc. Down fall you need a laptop or a profec to tune with. It can control injectors much larger than a safc and down the road has lots more options (timing, injectors duty cycle, knock sensor, o2 sensor etc). E-manage works well with larger injectors but it a bit more difficult to tune vs the safc. It offers complete control over your maf voltage...
Bottom line, for n/a setup and low boost + ease of tuning go with an safc. If your looking for a more involved Piggyback to do more, ie higher boost, just want more control over things etc etc then go with the emanage. Go standalone, and welcome to the world of complete control of everything but the expense comes with it....
safc2 is superior to 1 for a few reasons. One it adds the "fix" for maf cars that vent to the atmosphere and two it adds more points at which maf voltage can be adjusted vs version 1 ;-) Ebay is your friend =-) Good luck!
