Default Warning: Aluminium Flywheels

Your Flywheel is composed of aluminium and your ring gear is composed of steel. Expansion properties of the two metals are different which may result in ring gear dismounting the flywheel. Also the ring gear may expand to the point in where it will not contract.

For racing applications I would suggest a flywheel that is not composite of different metals (Mainly between the ring gear and flywheel)

This issue may pose a serious risk to your driveline, engine, and even your life.

Now I wish I would have recieved this, unfortunatly I had purchased my flywheel used.

In other words if you have a lead foot stay away from composite flywheels.

ummm why because you need a scatter sheild? Scatter sheilds are important on any race car not just one with a composite flywheel I've seen a stock flywheel come through a bell housing. This isn't news.... The warning is for guys who launch at 5k+ I wouldn't worry much if your not doing that...
