Default SAFC and Factorys tacho's.

Hi just need confirmation about and issue I am having.

Is there any chance that having the SAFC wired into my car could rob the tacho dash of enough signal that it will just fail? The rev wire that I taped into is, I think the right 1(is there any other that works for SAFC but is not right to tap into??) and it is just a tap not cut or anything major just pull back the wire coating and, solder in the rev wire for the SAFC.

Any help with this please as I have now bought 2 Tacho Dash Clusters and neither of them work on my car.
