Default MSD Ignition, MSD 6A

I read up about this MSD 6A, multiple sparks thing, how it helps provide quicker ET's, easier starting, reduced plug fouling, more power, and increased fuel economy

a friend that has a chevelle ss told me it works really well and you can feel the difference for sure.

does anyone here have this or have more information on it???

If your Hyundai has coil packs and no distributor, the 6A won't work. You'll need an MSD DIS-2.

the msd dis will do pretty much the same thing as the msd6a ,dis is for cars that have coilpacks and msd6a or 6al is for distributor ignition cars so if you have a hyundai it probably has a coilpack so u would need to get the dis system

I have MSD SCI in my Pony. I've noticed NO misfires (I also have ACCELL 8mm wires) and a steady increase in... smoothness. It fires on the first crank so long as the carbs are full.

What it does: (shocks the living fuck out of you when you're working on the ignition) Provides 7 sequential sparks at 40,000V (I also have the blaster2 coil) instead of one at 20,000 (for a 1984 Pony, coilpacks may have less)

I am running nology PC-10 ignition amplifier and it work great! Only thing is u need two units... one running each coilpack. It worked very well with standard cables...but when running with nology hotwires, even better!

Yes, I have an MSD DIS4 ignition and its great. I would highly recommend it. I've never had any misfires or anything and car seems to permorm more smoothly. Im also using copper plugs, although they don't last as long (about 15k miles) they perform much better.
