Engine response will be better, power will have increased through the entire powerband, you will have to run a higher octane fuel, your displacement would be lowered from 1975 to 1959.8...

here is the math
1975/4 = 493.75
493.75/ 10.3=47.93 [rounded]

(493.75-x)/(47.93-x)= 11.1
solve for x around 3.8

493.75-3.8=489.95
489.95*4= {1959.8} engines new displacement after 1.8 pistons and 2 layer xd head gasket.

Your max crank hp should be about 149.86hp from stock the 140hp (if this was the only modification you are doing). 7.04% over stock at all engine speeds.

This is all theory and math though. I didn't calculate the loss due to increased rotating mass.

This mod will make a very noticble differance considering it has a positive effect on the entire power band.
If you really want to step it up get the head shaved and get it in the 12:1 catagory and get some head work done and new cams.
