Changing pistons

Over the winter break I want to change my pistons over to the 1.8 piston. So basically I want to get an Idea of all the stuff I will need or while-im-down-there kind of maintainence. This is my only mode of transportation so the quicker I get this done the better.

My car will probibly have 109,000 miles on it when I get ready to do this
Currently My compression is still with in limits, no burning oil, basically no problems what so ever.
Anyways I want to raise my compression to about 11.(5-7):1
So here we go. I have the tools

Pistons and rings
xd head gasket
new water pump/ and gasket or silicone
timing belt
head studs
main rotating assemlby seals

help me out on other stuff

what about cams?

you know the Beta I and Beta II have different camshaft profiles

try to do as much as you can to the intake manifold and head when you take them out...like painting, port and polish,

it's gonna be a PITA getting the motor out just to change pistons..

if i wrere you..i'd get the SFR remapped ecu first to
being the full potential out of the BETA II
