another upgrade we can do is send our intake manifolfds to compact divisions and let them port it..or buy one of their ported manifold and send them our stock ones.

we still have many upgrades available if you have the money

intake, headrer, exhaust is good but we can do better.

underdrive pulley, big bore throttle body, colt cams, iridium plugs,
SFR remapped ecu..better power & mileage, more revs to play with!!
heck, even the 1.8 camshaft will yielda bit more power.

for the beta accent guys..even better!!

heck..if you decide to send your manifold to Compact divisions..remove the head and port that also..

The SFR remap no longer exsits for us out in the states. For whatever reason the maping is different in Korea and the cars here in the states wont run with them.

I have found a way to increase the stock rev limiter a bit. For betas running the 1.6 ecu will be good because the 1.6 rev limiter is lower than then 2.0. Even with the 1.8 cam the limiter must be increased at least to 7000rpm. The engine is still making hp up there. Not much, but it's not dropping it's power. Give me till tonight and I'll be having a full diy available.

Think this will work with 1.8/2.0 ecu's too? Cause my car is still making TONS of power at the limiter.

Well I've done it! I tried out some crystal oscilators and the rev limiter is now 7200. Believe me this thing is fast. Also I installed a 1.6 (not 1.8) camshaft and an unorthodox crank pulley.... you must see this

2001 Accent GS, 1.6L 5spd, autozone intake and KORE cat-back. If memory serves, Dyno taken on a mobile unit at Summit Point raceway minutes after running on track during Hyperfest, ~95 degrees out.

This works for the 1.6 ecu right? so Alpha motors runing the 1.6 ecu (like myself) could use this to raise our rev limiter as well right?

Medic- Any luck with the cams? Id like to get those smaller ones and put them on.
