you could make a header - using the flange from the stock cast, pipe and a pipe bender from princess auto... although it's possible to use an arch welder- i'd suggest a tig or some sort of "wire feed". making an intake is not as easy... you might get someone else to do that for you... but there are plenty of universal cold air intakes you could use... look up engine rebuilder/etc... in the yellow pages... ask them about getting your cam ground for your application... you'll want a stall converter... dont forget about tires and wheels (alloys are much lighter)... how much you want to spend will dictate how far you can go...
