Nology Laptop Dyno and OBD-II Scan tool

Laptop-Dyno

Does anyone use this or has heard about it?... Does it work? Is it worth the money? I'd love to hear the goods and the bads. Thanks

I got a near stock eclipse to show 1000+ hp with something like that. I did the pull in 1st... lol. They just apply math based off the time it takes you to get from X rpm to X rpm with a car that weights X. Like guessing at hp based off your 1/4 time/trap. Id say its about as accurate as the Gtech, and I don't think much of that thing.

Ya however the Gtech doesn't connect to your OBD-II rite? So its questionable if the Zology works... Hmm thanks for the input tho.

Gtech = accelerometers

That thing = math based off how long it takes for the rpms to climb in the gear closest to 1:1. If it is like the other thing I used and this looks like the same thing. I will try and find out if it is.

Id say it is a little better than a butt dyno if you can keep the variables as close to the same as possible. Same road, direction of travel, wind direction, temprature, etc.
