97 accent gt not getting gas!!!!!

hey i have a 97 accent gt and sometimes wen i go to start the car the fuel pump won't kick in so i tested the wires goin to the pump wen its not workin and thre is no power goin to the pump. the pump works fine wat could this be..... anyone???? thanks

The fuse up in the fuse box possibly. The wires up to the fuse box could be corroded, or the fuse it self could be toast.
