I have n 05 elantra and I have done the free intake mod and wow what a difference it made. I am now wanting to add a borla muffler and was wondering what one fits the car? also what size piping should I go for on the exhuast for good performance? I eventually will be putting a turbo on the car so keep that in mind although that wont be for a while. thanks.
There are lots of options for mufflers I'm not sure what the Oem piping size is for the exhaust but when I originally put a muffler on my stock piping on my 03 elantra I just cut the old muffler off and took a piece of the oem and the muffler I had to autozone and found a reducer/coupler the matched both pieces and just welded it together that way. Also there are a few elantra specific forums around so I would search elantraxd.com for the answers you seek.
