The Elantra's and Tiburon's came with 2.0L betas.
I think back from 1997. Some Tiburon's and Elantra's did come with 1.8L betas.

Why would you want to swap out the V6?
If you supercharge the Delta, you would be over 220hp+ other mods. This would be more than most people who mod their betas.

The Beta unless moded quite a bit will be difficult to go over 250hp. Sure some Tibs in Korea have over 500hp and some over 600hp, but that will cost a ton of money and those are purely drag cars.

With the cost of the swap and the fact that its a new car with a new engine, I think it would be better if you bought yourself a 1st gen and modded that.

I don't understand why ppl use turob for drag racing.... Superchargers are for drag racing! Turbo's are for endurance events, like rallying...

Uhhh Jed, we dont have huge displacements and the positive pressure curve of a S/C is linear in nature because its rotating speed is related directly to crank speed. With a turbo, depending on impeller and turbine wheel profile as well as A/R and housing style the boost curve can even look like a positive quadratic! [although you WILL have a negative value where the lag is] You wont get a negative value with an S/C cuz there's positive pressure from the get go.

Our engines dont breathe much, so we gotta cram more air in there.
