Default clock

okay, this is a real dumb question, but the clock on the dash of my elantra stopped working. at first it would work on and off and now it's off and has been off for a couple months, except this morning it worked for an hour. is there anything i can do to fix it? i looked to see if there was a fuse i could replace but i didn't see one.

Or use that space for something more important... like a mini ashtray or you could gut it and stick some sort of laser light show module in there to signify you have an alarm.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's an ugly clock to begin with, (if it's the same as the LC2) Tho i admit when something isn't working on my car i tend to get a bit anal about it.

Does anyone have any good ideas for what would fit in that hole? I bought the cheap car with nothing but a 5spd and a/c. no clock. open space. all I can fit in there are my 3 fingers and my girlfriend gets mad at me when i do that too much

I have thought of something to fit in the hole...other than money. If they made it, a small digital tach would be nice considering the L model doesn't have one and it wouldn't look that tacky (no pun intended). If you upgrade the horrendous factory radio then you have the clock.

R.I.P. to my 2002 Accent L. Took a 60mph barrel roll and I lived to tell about it (P.S. always buckle up) and the car STILL drove like nothing was wrong with it. I have great ideas for my 2004 Elantra GLS but the aftermarket companies need to catch up for the XD2 body style. All in all, f*** american cars and double f*** Honda!
