Default sorta newbie spring question

Ok, the question is about putting in aftermarket springs. The stock springs are unground open ended on bottom and ground closed end on top. The bottom of the spring fits into a groove in the spring perch on the strut that matches the springs wind pitch. So heres the questions:
Do the lowering springs (e.g. eibach, intrax, SR) match the OE ends?

Adjustable sleeve coilovers are a separate issue, do they make the bottom of the sleeve to match with the spring perch angle(s)?

Thanks.

Thats what I thought, but wanted to be sure.

The sleeves for the coilovers though...they are usually smaller diameter springs arn't they? Like 2 1/2" OD.

coilover sleeves don't sit in the spring perches, the bottom sits on it right around the shock(there is usually a couple of rubber O-rings that go between the sleeve and the shock) on the spring perch(but not in the grooves for the spring if that makes any sense), for the top there is usually a spring perch included
