Default A small question from a new Tiburon owner

Hi everyone...

I'm sorry if anyone is disturbed by this question but I have been browsing the webpages here in Sweden (where I live) and I couldn't find anyone with some decent knowledge about the Tiburon 2000 model...

Thus I had to spread my search to other parts of the world so I came here...

My question is, what should I do to crank the power up some? The tiburon is rather rare here, so I don't know anyone who can share some knowledge...

And if u wonder why I bought a car noone knows anything about here it is because I love that car since the first time I saw it!

you may want to look at the newbie message board. There are afew interesting links to get you started. Search the forum and take you time to digest. At the end you are the best person to know what is expected of your car.

it all just depends on what you plan for your car and what you want to do...

If you are not going turbo then I'll suggest a Cold Air Intake (CAI) either AOS or AEM. This mod is relatively cheap and you'll feel the difference once added. :devious:

usually your first steps would be intake and exhuast and headers and anything you want for how the car handles (strut bars, springs, struts, short shift) and looks

Hör av dig så fixar vi fram lite fakta och info. Alltid trevlig med landsmän som kör samma bil.
Vi provar att dra ihop en site med bilar från Sverige.

Sorry all you US-racers. Just some info.

Hi,

I'm also from Sweden. It's weird that there aren't any tiburon/coupe webpages in swedish because I see loads of the RD tiburons on the streets where I live.

But then again I live right next to the hyundai sweden hq, and a hyundai garage.

If you know Spanish from Spain... http://www.tiburontuningclub.com
We also have a forum dedicated to our loved tiburons (Here Coupes).
I can tell you some little mods that are easily availiable in Europe. Very few in comparison with US!!!

Try to take out the Cathalyzer! If the oxigen sensor (Lambda probe) is before it, it will be possible. You'll gain 15 hp at least (Adding a sport rear exhaust is advisable). Of course you'll need a piece to substitute the catalyzer. Just some extra N0 to the atmosphear!

Have fun!
