Default South Korea license plates

Does anyone where I can get a South Korean license plate. From what I've seen and read, they are like Japenese plates in size, but instead have green backgroudn w/ white lettering. I was going to buy a JDM Japenese plate set, and just paint it green, then repaint the letters white, but I figured I'd ask you guys where to find a Korean plate instead of doing it the half-assed way.

I highly doubt you can get Korean plates cause it is illegal to have them and they have a special magnetic locking mechanism on one of their bolts.

They are plain and kind of ugly. Usually green with white or yellow letters.
Korean and Japanese are totally different looking languages also.

Maybe we could get them made at one of those custom license plate shops.....would it be illegal to have them on the front if your home state doesn't require a plate on the front? Can anyone post pics of what they look like and possible characters to put on them. If we all agreed on what they should say I'll look into it and start a group buy. IMO they should actually say something in Korean that no one else would get. Maybe they should be just randon like the plates there are prolly. Let's get oppinions and I'll talk to the local shop. I'm sure they could do it.

Post pics please!!!

They have what province/city the plates are registered in most places have a day restiction. Like odd numbered ending plates can only drive on certain days and same with even numbered ending plates. Those plates are all from Seoul.

no, it is not illegal to run a foriegn plate if you do not need a plate on the front.. elsewise all those bimmers with german plates would be in trouble.

I still think the easiest/half-assed route would be to buy a JDM Japanese license plate set and paint the one green w/ white lettering to match most Korea plates. I'm sure no one would notice the difference.

Either I do that, or it looks like I'm going on a field trip
