Default HOW DO U CHANGE THIS THINGY

How would you go about changing ur speedo, because im changing from my stock 13'' wheels to 15'' and i know the mileage will change if i dont so somthing, and how do i make it so i dont do over the speed limit cecause i know that the bigger rims will kae you go faster than ur speedo is saying. if anyone has any help for me, it would help alot

You don't change your speedo.

Go here: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Input your stock 13" tire size (175/70/13). Then input new tire size you want, and pay attention to the overall circumfrence of both and try and get them as close as possible. It will also tell you the speedo error % so you have a good idea of how off it is. It looks like a 195/50/15 would only increase circumf. a total of 0.1" and only throw the speedo off 0.1%. That's not even enough to notice.

yeah, i wouldnt really worry about it all that much. after you get new rims drive by one of those speed checker things.

A plus two fitment from a 13 inch rim might be hard to come by... if you really want to increase the rolling diameter of your wheels... take the car to a speedometer shop and they will recalibrate for a fee.
