Default Calling all veterans! Noob down I repeat, NOOB DOWN!!

I just picked up my 03 Tib Tuscani Edition a month ago. I want to performance tune my ride but I know nothing about this car. I need to know just how frail the aluminum block is and informaion on a tranny swap. Automatic is not going to cut it for me. I need any and all informaion anyone can give me about my car so if you know anything Im listening.

I don't mind getting Price info aswell but lets make pretend money is not an issue here. I keep hearing "It depends on how much money you have". Give it to me straight.

THANX

No 5 or 6 speeds available. And I didn't get it at a Hyundai Dealer either. It's used but like new.
