I really couldn't tell you the technical specs, just the overall feel and control was much better and easier to use than my previous Dremel. However, I haven't messed with the new Dremel yet, so that may be a moot point now. If I had to buy another one, I'd probably buy the new model Dremel. While my B&D has been going strong 2 years now, I've seen Dremels last 20+ years which I doubt I'll get out of my B&D. The only other plus for the B&D is it's a bit cheaper as well.
Here's what I found on Amazon:
Amps: 2.2
Watts out: 240
Volts: 115
No-load speed: 8,000 to 30,000 rpm
Bearing type: Ball
Handle type: Barrel grip
It was more powerful than the older Dremels, but it looks like the new models are a bit tougher than the RTX. So like I said, I'd reconsider my next purchase.
