Thump??
I own a 01 Elantra GLS. I recently stopped short to avoid a deer in the road. T
he road was sharply curved, and I didn't stop short enough, and the right wheel went into the ditch causing the underside of the car hit the road. :ermm: Since then, when I drive I hear a medium-loud thump, that happens maybe twice a second when I go slow and as I drive faster I hear it more frequently. I'm pretty sure that it's not a noise coming from the engine, because I put the car in neutral, shut off the engine and let it coast down a steep hill, I still heard the thump sound. I don't see any visible damage to the car. Any ideas what that noise could be, and how would I go about fixing it?
