Default Board question: How do we know what posts get replies?

Does that make sense?

I'm used to getting emails for each "subscribed thread" when someone replies... anything I reply to automatically becomes a subscribed thread. Is there any way to tell which of the threads I'm currently taking part in have new replies? I only replied to (or started) like 5 threads on here, and I already forget which ones I want to look at!

its true.... Your memeory will serve the greater part of finding your topics. Their have been many times in my past 2k post where I have totally lost a topic I thought I posted. Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. Like Section said, everytime a topic is replied to they automatically go to the top. Now if nobody replies, and it gets pushed to the bottom then have fun finding it. If I can't find what I am looking for there are 2 things I like to do. If you look in the middle column, it says who posted/started the topic, so just look for your name and you'll find it. Or if you remember what day you made it, you can look at the last column and start at the very first post of that day and work your way up. Now if someone has replied it may be in the middle, but it could also be the dead last topic of the day. Hope that helps you some. I think Rob doesn't implement the e-mail notification system because he wants us to be on here all the time!!!
