Default Just a few Newb ?'s

Hi, I have a 2000 Accent GS and wanted to know what would be the best thing to add 1st to gain more HP? Like, Headers, Chip, Intake..im new to this and needed some help.

Does anyone know about those modules you can get off of e-bay for like $20 that increase your HP? Only thing I ever saw before were chips for like $300, will those cheap ones burn your car up?:smoking:

i heard that most, if not all were fake shit on there(referring to the chips)...from my experience here, the easiest and cheapest thing to do for HP is intake. k&n is the preferred company.

I'm new to Hyundai, but with Ford chips help a lot after you do the I/H/E. It kind of cleans up the performance after a lot of modifications. Do NOT go for the Tornado or any other of those fake "cheap" mods. Check out the list that is stickied.

If it looks too good to be true, it is. I'd recommend a cold air intake first.

Sorry, but you really shouldn`t post the same question in more than one forum!.

Here`s what was said elsewhere :-

I ordered one out of interest, only cost £1 - ended up, i got an A4 piece of paper with a resistor taped to it.

Apparently it does work, but all it does is fool your car into thinking its colder than it really is, thus injecting more fuel- hardley a chip! :P
