Default 4banger???

I'm looking to buy a Tiburon and i have a guy that has a 2003 Tiburon 4cylinder (5spd) with 26k on it and he is only asking $6500. He said it was sligthly wrecked, and all that was replaced was the hood, front bumber and headlight assembly. That price seems too good to be true. BUT i want to get something i like, my only concern is a 4cylinder tiburon a dawg, and should i just spend a lil more money and get a GT. I like the fuel economey that the 4 cylinder has, but the GT has about 45 more horses. I dont plan on racing the car or anything--- Just give me ur opinions about the 4bangers.:rambo:

man i wouldn't pass that up, just make sure you look the car over first if it had front end dammage.....but as for the 4 cylinder its a great motor and much more availlable parts for them......and way better gas useage......but it sounds like a great deal and if there is nothing wrong with the front end then i'd pick that up for sure........hope that helped.......

The V6 is a dog on the low end and you will be able to do more with aftermarket on the 4-cylinder... It is a good price if there is no frame damage. Make sure you get the car thoroughly inspected before you purchase.

Yeah the four cyl isnt bad there is lots of potental. Here are some things to consider if you dont have the $6000 cash and you were going to get a car loan most banks will only give you a loan if you can get full coverage on the insurance and most insurance companies will not give full coveage to a car with a salavage title. Even if you do have the cash to buy the car and you dont want to get full coverage insurance if some one steals the car your F---ed.

Also if the car was hit in the front DMV will need to certifie that the head lights are properly aligiened before they can give you a title. Unless the car was done by a pro the front wont be right because when you line up the front you have to line up 7 different reference points to make sure the head lights will agline. Lastly if there was any factory warrenty left its voided with the salvage title

If it was hit in the rear you have the money and dont mind not having full coverage and there is no frame damage then its not a bad deal.

Good luck
