Default 4G63 engine swap?

I have a stock 2000 2.0 Liter 4 cyl. Tiburon and am thinking on doing a 4G63 engine swap for it. Is that a good idea and if not does any one have any suggestions on what I should do?

What about if the 4G63 motor I am getting has an aftermarket turbo and manifold. It's my friends motor so he was going to give it to me for $600 whereas it would cost me around $3000 or more to trubo my car if I get the whole kit.

If you are good at welding and making custom parts like axles, go for it. Also going to need the entire wiring harness from the mitz as well as computer etc. Good Luck. I think it will end up being more than boosting the beta myself, but that really depends on how much work you can do yourself.

and you also need a tranny for it, you would need to figure out what to do with the brake and clutch resevoirs. figure out what to do with the sterring stuff.

its just not worth it.

you should buy it, take the aftermarket turbo stuff, and use what you can to turbo the beta, then sell the engine minus the turbo parts.

Yeah, you could use the turbo and just about everything but the manis for the tib. The Beta gets great response with Boost. Ass loads of tourqe.
