I have a code on my gf's 2000 hyundai accent for intake air temp. Where can I pick up one of those? Yeah I know that dealer has it but I want to know if any other place has it?

I don't know where you can buy one, but if I were you, I would check that out more. Have you check the resistance on it at different temp.'s? Are you getting voltage at the sensor?

IAT sensors don't go bad very often.

Marked... I had it hooked up on computer and thats what the code was for.. How do you check for the stuff that you mentioned above?

Well, I am at work right now, so I don't have the correct numbers, but............ First check that you have voltage going to the sensor, and then test the resistance while holding a blow dryer to the sensor...resistance should go up. I think I got the numbers from my chilton manual, or maybe from hmservice.com.

HOWEVER, since it is only $6.99, I also would just change it. Heck....If I had known that, I wouldn't have ever of bothered to know this procedure. lol

I was at auto zone. They don't carry it for 2000 accent :cry:
