Default CAI Help with 98 accent

I want to add a CAI into my 98 accent GL but there is a sensor in the stock airbox right above the filter does anyone know what this sensor is for? and if I bypass it or If I need to put it in the CAI?

That is teh MAF (Mass Air Flow sensor) You can not bypass it. you are going to have to put into the CAI tubing. Most CAIs have a hole that it fits in.

It's not the MAF sensor the sensor i'm asking about is before the MAF it plugs right into the air box. I'm not to sure but I think it could be the air temp sensor.
