Accent SR 1.6

Hi Guys.

Nice site. I am from South Africa. I am the owner of a new 2007 Accent hatch SR.

Some questions, since I know the models we get in SA is not at all on par with the models from other countries, could anyone shine some light as to what the specs are of the SR in the UK/US ?

Mine has the Normal 1.6 DOHC 16V CVVT Motor. I am not sure as what design it is, as I remember correctly that some of the Hyundai motors are almost the same as the Mitshubishi units, and that the 2.4 Sonata Motor is close to the Merc 2.4

The SR I have is a nice car, but modifications that we have looked at here, will improve KW, but there seems to be problems with gaining more torque.

Any ideas or views on this.
